Can you lay pavers in the pouring rain?

On December 6, 2009 · 3 Comments

My husband works for a excavating company and he says he’s laying pavers today. Well it’s pouring down rain where I am and he says it’s raining there too but that he’s still working and he’s going to be working late. Yes! there is some major trust issues I won’t go into but I just don’t believe him. I don’t know anything about that field so could someone just tell me if it is possible to lay Pavers in the pouring down rain?

Yes, you can, but it doesn’t sound like much fun.
partly, it depends on if he is filling the gaps with sand or concrete, which depends on the kind of pavers and personal preference.
Is it possible it is just not raining as hard there? In the contracting field, there is always something to do, and on a deadline. (My dad has done contract work)
